
A City Conservation Unit. Beautiful place with several waterfalls falling from the rocks. The main waterfall is about 30m high. There is a camping area and rocky walls where it is possible to do rappel. Visitors who intend to do rappel must contact a specialized company. There is a cafeteria and restrooms in the area. Camping is also allowed. There are trails where visitors can enjoy the nature and the beauty of the place.
Location/ access: 15 km from downtown. To get to the São Jorge River Cannyon take the Carlos Cavalcanti Avenue. The access is made by Arichernes Gobbo Highway. After the overpass of ALL patio, turn left and drive in the direction of Dal Col habitation nucleus. After 2 km, turn right, go under the railway overpass. Go straight ahead for 5 km and turn left, go 1km until the next bifurcation. Turn right and go forward 2 km until your reach the São Jorge river.
